Dream Racer Boats: the interior layout center for yachting

Specialized in the development of interior layout of the offshore racing boats, Dream Racer Boats widens its offer to the yachting.

Just celebrated a year, Dream Racer Boats has become known in the middle of Figaro. A first boat exhibited at the Nautic Boatshow 2018 in Paris. The Figaro, number 10, sailed by Piard and Pochet in 1992 at the first Transat AG2R. The first version of the famous series of Figaro (the last output is the foiler, the Figaro III). We have chosen to completely refit this legendary boat, inside and outside, to show the public that with the composite it is possible to RE-create and give a second youth!

RETHINK. REBUILD. REFIT.

Renovation of the deck, new interior fit-out, choice of the latest generation electronics. These choices allowed the public present at the Nautic of Paris to project on the eventual refit of their boat. It gives ideas!

The launching

The Nautic was a springboard for Dream Racer Boats. A busy order book for the beginning of 2019. Mostly the work was done on the Figaro 2 (second generation boats Solitaire Urgo Le Figaro). The aim of this work was to optimize the latter for its participation in the next Transquadra. The start of this race, at the end of 2020, will be launched from Marseille and Lorient. This is why Dream Racer Boats, whose head office is in Brittany, was also asked by the Southerners to prepare their boats.

As the history of the shipyard is, Dream Racer Boats is a mobile shipyard.

We have studied several cases to best meet the demand of our customers, in terms of budget and feasibility. Thus, we developed interior layout kits to mount “oneself”. These kits have been developed in order to be removable and thus to be easy to assemble, obviously respecting the mounting diagrams.

The work, which must call on know-how and control of the process, Dream Racer Boats prepares upstream the site in its development center and moves to the home port of the boat to perform the service.

A partner network & a turnkey service

Alternatively, partnerships with various sites on the France network (for the moment) are in progress. These sites are certified by Dream Racer Boats and offer the installation of our interior fittings and equipment in accordance with procedures. These partner shipyards also for the most part have the capacity to respond to external demands (such as the preparation of hulls among others). Thus Dream Racer Boats is in charge of ensuring a turnkey service. For specific requests: preparation of a hull for the search of performance and improve the glide, a request of specific motorization, etc. Dream Racer Boats takes you to the ideal interlocutor, selected previously, who shares our core values ​​of quality, safety and performance.

Interior outfitting on new yacht

Dream Racer Boats is currently working on this tailor-made service to meet the many customer requests. How Dream Racer Boats stands out?

We develop internally suitable materials for each application. These materials essentially sandwich materials composed of a core enclosed in two skins are designed to meet the properties (chemical, mechanical, thermal, phonic,…) specific to each application.

The choice of applied paints, innovative coatings are also part of the study and services offered.

On the theme of reviving his boat, the design office is also working on the use of eco-friendly materials and wants to offer these layout more “green” to the new boat.
