Good day César, You have made the transport of Figaro 1 No. 10 from Brussels to its future home port Concarneau. How did you live this experience? So the first word that comes to my mind is that it was cold (laugh) !! In hindsight I can say that there were three stages of this delivery trip. The first stage was from Brussels to Dunkirk via Breskens. This represented forty hours of navigation, following the channels among cargo packed full of containers, which was not such an easy task. The second stage came after three days spent in Dunkirk waiting for milder weather….

Bonjour César, Vous avez réalisé le convoyage du Figaro 1 n°10, de Bruxelles à son futur port d’attache Concarneau. Comment avez-vous vécu cette expérience ? Alors le premier mot qui me vient à l’esprit c’est froidement (rire) !! Avec le recul je peux dire qu’il y a eu trois étapes dans ce convoyage. Première étape de Bruxelles à Dunkerque en passant par Breskens. Cela représente une quarantaine d’heures de navigation. À suivre les chenaux au milieu d’énorme porte containers, pas évident de naviguer. The  Figaro  Beneteau  3  is  the  first  production  foiling  one-­‐design  monohull  ever  to  be designed.
