The reborn Pogo 50 #2
Un refit haut de gamme pour ce Pogo 50.This boat was launched this spring in Arzal and now, after 3600 nm, she has finally arrived to her home port in Italy. Fastlight is the second fifty feet sailing yacht from the Pogo Structures shipyard, and their largest performance racer et cruiser yacht.

Pogo Des Potes
The Pogo Structures shipyard builds fast yachts, suitable for offshore sailing and small crews. It offers a range of boats from 30 to 50 feet. Modern, fun and accessible to all. This No. 2 in the Pogo 50 series previously belonged to an association. This boat needed a serious refit to get back on the open sea. Formerly known as Le Pogo Des Potes, it has travelled around the world, in many inhospitable regions. Combined with a few years’ enforced rest, exposed to all winds on a Brittany jetty, the boat’s general state of repair has not improved.
A TOP-OF-THE-RANGE, MADE-TO-MEASURE REFIT FOR THIS POGO 50
Dream Racer Boats performed a complete refit of the interior layout of this boat with the Filumena Marine shipyard, specializes in the nautical maintenance in Arzal.
The new owner was looking for a high-end, tailor-made layout. It should be suitable for a large family, while respecting the criteria of lightness and durability.
Our work focused on designing a modern and warm atmosphere, by combining gray cedar with solid oak. We designed large, light surfaces that contrast the anthracite gray floors. The use of PET foam sandwich panels enabled us to meet the customer’s limited weight requirements. Additionally, we used noble materials for the veneers, the massifs, and the worktops.
Always with an eye to lightness, the top storage units have been designed in the form of equipment, such as wardrobes and textile doors. Their woven fabric, made from carbon fibre and coloured braids, is a reminder of the fittings and the red and grey hull decoration of this unique boat. The same goes for the selection of hardware, accessories and lighting. They are all of the highest quality and from the world of yachting.
