An ideal blend of comfort, performance and innovation
The subtle balance between comfort and performance has been meticulously achieved in the interior layout of the Patago 50, designed by DRB Concept. From the very first sketches, the aim was to minimise any impact on the boat’s performance, and every element on board, from weight to distribution, was scrutinised with particular care.
The owner played an active role in the selection of materials and finishes, helping to create a welcoming interior that combines cherry wood, stained veneer and white lacquer. This judicious choice brings a warm atmosphere on board, where comfort and aesthetics meet in harmony.
Extreme comfort for polar expeditions
Interior
Another crucial aspect of the interior design is the insulation designed for polar expeditions. This feature transforms the Patago 50 into a real cocoon of warmth and tranquillity, even in extreme environments. The ergonomics of the design and the distribution of spaces emphasise large open volumes, encouraging interaction among the crew while offering a continuous view of the exterior and the cartography.
Safe movement on board is ensured by strategically positioned handrails, while teak footbraces provide stable support for the feet, contributing to a comfortable and safe sailing experience.
